Q1: How long have you been a Consultant Surgeon?
6 yrs

Q2: What made you specialise in eye surgical care?
I was interested in Ophthalmology because the eyes are the part of the body affected by the widest range of medical diseases and where surgery produces dramatic improvement to patients lives. I feel the surgical procedures are technically challenging and I enjoy the thrill of providing patient satisfaction

Q3: If you had one bit of advice for those requiring private medical attention, what would that be?
Like any service, quality and reliability are paramount, patients should take time and seek the best care by personal recommendation where possible or by first trying long established clinics.

Q4: What was the biggest influence encouraging you to become a Doctor?
My girlfriend (now wife) for her belief and support.

Q5: When not looking after your patients, what do you do to relax?
Spending time in the garden with the children, playing musical instruments and walking.
