Gerard Kervick; MB FRCOphth, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Clinical Director
Mr Kervick, is a leading ophthalmic surgeon and the founder of AllClear. He studied medicine at University College Cork, and received post-graduate training in Cork, Cardiff, Belfast, and Miami. In 1991 he was appointed consultant at the Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Derry.
In 1995 he was appointed consultant at the Mater Hospital, Belfast to head up a new ophthalmic department. Under his leadership, the department has seen significant growth in the number of patients and consultants, and has achieved the prestigious Government Charter Mark for excellence in the Eye Outpatient Department on two occasions.
Mr Kervick set up AllClear in 1992 to provide laser refractive surgery. As one of the first surgeons to perform this surgery in the UK, he has been actively involved in helping develop other surgeons in this specialist area.

Matt O’Driscoll, Corporate Finance Director
Mr O’Driscoll is a chartered accountant with over 30 years experience in accounting, corporate banking, business acquisitions and fund-raisings. He is a former head of corporate finance at Ernst & Young, Hong Kong/China.
Richard Kervick; Chief Financial Officer
Mr Kervick is a cost and management accountant with 20 years experience in accounting and financial reporting. As an accountant in private practice he advised on the setting up of AllClear in 1992 and has been its chief financial officer since then.
Mr Kervick joined Quality Healthcare as full-time chief financial officer in 2005. He is responsible for group accounting and cash flow management, monthly financial reporting, and financial forecasting.
Kath Dickson, Director of Operations, Allclear Clinic, Belfast
Ms Dickson joined AllClear as its Manager in 2001 after 12 years'
administrative experience in the Ophthalmic Department at the Mater
Hospital, Belfast.
From June 2005 to June 2007 she had the additional responsibility of Group
Director of Operations responsible for overseeing the integration of
Quality Healthcare's additional hospital/clinic businesses in Cork and Waterford.
Ms Dickson is now focusing on expanding Quality Healthcare's Northern Ireland businesses.
Brian Martin, Chief Executive Officer. Shanakiel Hospital
Mr Martin has over 20 years experience in multinational corporate organisations with responsibility for Sales and Marketing and Supply chain Management for medical device products.
Mr Martin joined Quality Healthcare as CEO in June 2007. He is responsible for the leadership and management of Shanakiel Hospital
Liz Linehan; Director of Nursing, Shanakiel Hospital
Ms Linehan is a qualified nurse and midwife with 30 years experience in nursing and clinical management. She joined Shanakiel Hospital in 1991 and was appointed matron in 1997.
Ms Linehan is responsible for clinical affairs at Shanakiel Hospital including patient care, liaison with consultants, and management of nursing staff.
Anna Barber; Manager, Waterford Eye Clinic (WEC)
Ms Barber has 11 years management experience in a leading optical practice in Waterford. She joined WEC as clinic manager in April 2006.
Ms Barber is responsible for the day to day management of WEC, including patient and consultant liaison.
